3. The sidewalks adjacent the project site and running along the Stewart Street and Ninth Avenue right-of-ways shall be kept open and made safely passable throughout the construction period. Should a determination be made by the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) that closure of this sidewalk is temporarily permissible because necessary for demolition, shoring, structural modification or other purposes, DPD shall be notified by the developer or general contractor at least three days prior to the planned temporary closure and a plan shall be presented and approved by DPD prior to the closure. The temporary closure plan shall present alternative mitigation that is sufficient to mitigate the impacts this condition is intended to address.

Common Inspection Tips:

To schedule a Pre-Construction Conference or Grading Season meeting, please call (206) 684-8860 between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
To schedule an on-site or phone consultation with your inspector: Schedule an Advisory inspection if it's listed below in "The Following Are Required" section. If it's not listed below, schedule the Advisory inspection by calling the Inspection Scheduling Line at (206) 684-8950.
To schedule a Land Use/Design Review inspection, please email the assigned Land Use Planner at least one week before the desired inspection date. Their information is displayed on the construction permit face.
To find the inspector performing your inspection: Search for your Scheduled inspection below in "The Following Are Required:" You may have to click Next if there are multiple pages. Your assigned inspector's name will appear below the inspection type.
For Side Sewer permits, Sanitary Final and Drainage Final inspections cannot be scheduled online. Please schedule a Sanitary Cover or Drainage Cover for all side sewer inspection needs.
If you are having any other issues scheduling an inspection, please call our Inspection Scheduling Line at (206) 684-8950 between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
For Developer Contribution Housing Inspections only, contact the Office of Housing.
