4.The owner(s), builder(s), or responsible party(s) shall follow the BMPs developed to prevent debris and other deleterious material from entering the water during demolition and construction. a.If floating debris enters the water during the proposed work this debris shall be removed immediately and stored until it can be disposed of at an appropriate upland facility. b.If heavy (sinking) debris enters the water during the proposed work the location of the debris shall be documented in a log that is kept on site for the duration of the construction work. When construction is complete a diver shall retrieve all debris that has entered the water and sunk during the proposed work.

To schedule an on-site or phone consultation with your inspector: Schedule an Advisory inspection if it's listed below in "The Following Are Required" section. If it's not listed below, schedule the Advisory inspection by calling the Inspection Scheduling Line at (206) 684-8950.
To schedule a Land Use/Design Review inspection, please email the assigned Land Use Planner at least one week before the desired inspection date. Their information is displayed on the construction permit face.
To find the inspector performing your inspection: Search for your Scheduled inspection below in "The Following Are Required:" You may have to click Next if there are multiple pages. Your assigned inspector's name will appear below the inspection type.
For Side Sewer permits, Sanitary Final and Drainage Final inspections cannot be scheduled online. Please schedule a Sanitary Cover or Drainage Cover for all side sewer inspection needs.
Construction, Grading and Demolition intake appointments may only be cancelled or rescheduled prior to 3:00 pm the day before the appointment, otherwise they will incur a no show fee if they are not used. See Fee Subtitle section 22.900B.020.B.
